Ingvar was not in any way shape or form the sort of person that went on dates. He also wasn't the sort of person that got into relationships. By nature he was solitary, and he rather liked it that way. Which was why, for what felt like the millionth time, he was wondering why he was standing here waiting for his date. Dates were a waste of time, as were girlfriends (or boyfriends because, admittedly, he wasn't picky). And here he was, wasting even more time waiting for a date that was now running exactly fifteen seconds late. Ingvar hated it when people were late.

Maybe he would just call his date, tell them the whole thing was off, and leave. That sounded like a good idea. Then again... there was always the slight chance that he would actually enjoy himself.

5 minutes, he was 5 minutes late. Alfred himself would still consider it on time, yet he knew the nature of his date quite well. Date, his heart jumped a bit at that word and his expression brightened as he dashed down the street. It was one of those stupid games done annually by the creative vice president of the student council. Random names were drawn and paired to each other. The challenge was dating the person for a whole day. The rule was to make several romantic photos as proof that they actually did have a date.

    Alfred cheated the game.

He was bold enough to bribe the president into pairing his name with Ingvar. Why? Because he never had the chance to ever speak with him, mostly because he was loud while the other boy was calm and rather distant. To him Ingvar was interesting, a puzzle...a mystery. And he couldn't deny that he was also pretty cute. Alfred wondered what Ingvar thought of him.

The moment Ingvar was withing eyeshot was also the first time where he felt nervous. "Yo!" He greeted his date. "Sorry for the wait." He beamed.

As stupid as Ingvar thought these little games were and, as much as he had wanted to just leave his date hanging, it was a challenge and Ingvar would never back down from a challenge. Even though he thought it was extremely stupid.

When his date arrived five minutes late he wasn't quite as irritated as he could have been. In fact, he was rather calm now. And maybe just a little nervous. None of that showed though. The o ly thing on the Scandinavian boy's face was indifference.

"You know, showing up late to a date generally gives people a bad impression of you."

(My apologies... I haven't had a chance to get on lately.)

    (It's okay, really.)

Ingvar's words triggered a slight panic in him, way to have a miserable start, he could slap himself. He apologised again, tried to laugh, but failed as it came out forced and nervous. "Look, I'm really sorry, I'll treat you to something?"
He hope Ingvar wouldn't be too angry for the rest of the day. He could never figure out that guy.

"Well, where to go now? Movies? Cafè? Anything else?" He asked hesitantly.
