Francis yawned in his office as he cleared yet another round of solitaire. How utterly boring, he thought, as the mini fireworks flashed onto his screen. While there was no denying that he was simply slacking off and not doing a thing (that cursed paperwork!), the fact that Francis felt restricted and constrained at work could not be ruled out. There were piles, upon piles of editing to be done, and it was quite difficult for him to have to plow through every single piece of work that had been submitted for publishing. Really now, did the higher-ups not understand that he had applied to be an out-field journalist, and not some novel editor?

While the pay was good and eye candy abound in the office, it could not be questioned that Francis otherwise disliked his job. He didn't even know why he had stayed. Sure, the secretary that they had assigned to him was cute and pretty, but that wasn't enough of an incentive. Or was it? Actually, speaking of her, Francis pressed the intercomm on his desk and called for her, hoping that there might be something down for him to do later that day.

Lilli walked down the long office hall, carrying a few papers in one arm and a hot cup of coffie in the other. Mr. Bonne- Francis (He kept insisting that she called him by his first name), had called her a few minutes ago and asked if there was anything new going on in the office. To be honest, not a lot had gone on that day, so she decided on just bringing up his mail and a fresh cup of coffie. He seemed to enjoy that.

The blonde lightly knocked on Mr. Bo- Francis' door before opening in slightly. Hopefully this will cheer him up, he did sound a little tired over the intercom.

Francis glanced over at the door lazily, watching the blonde knocking and enter the room. Sitting up, he gave a smile, albeit a one that was a little tired, to her. "Ah, Lilli, you're here." He took the bundle of letters and the lit up at a little at the smell of the coffee, accepting them and took a sip of it, feeling just a little more energised by it. His secretary really knew how to make a good cup of coffee. Motioning for the other to take the seat opposite him, Francis set the mug down, and leaned forward a little on his table, glancing at the planner on his desk.

"Anything up for the day, my dear?"
